Iceland through my eyes
Summer is the season we wait for, for the beauty and freedom it gives us. We dream of warm holidays spent by the sea or the ocean, surrounded by lush greenery.
In contrast with previous years, this year I opted for an atypical “Icelandic summer” holiday. Reykjavik and the raw beauty of Iceland have always intrigued me. Even the Icelandic language and the pronunciation of Reykjavik are unique.
My curiosity about this remarkable land led me to set myself the goal of visiting Iceland and its capital, which embodies Icelandic culture. Although I had read up on Iceland, I had no idea what to expect. Once I arrived, everything surprised me in a way that was truly a “once-in-a-lifetime experience“. From the charm of Reykjavik and the local culture and people, to the geysers, waterfalls, glacial lakes, mountains, lava fields and relaxing lagoons, everything is a delight for the eyes and the senses.
Iceland through my eyes is a video that captures what “pleased the eye” and offers a window onto my experience in Iceland.
